Angular interviews in 2022

Here’s what you should know going into an interview

--

Angular is one of the most known and powerful modern JavaScript frameworks on the market. It can be used to develop all kinds of applications. But, developing complex business applications is where Angular really shines.

Therefore, it’s not surprising that many companies bet on Angular. Since you are reading this article, the company you want to work for in the future probably also relies on Angular.

Maybe, you are new to Angular, or maybe you already have some experience with it. In any case, you want to be prepared for that interview. If that's the case, I want to congratulate you, because you found the right article.

A chat between technology experts 💬

I have done many job interviews throughout my career, first as an applicant and later as an interviewer. So I have been in your shoes, but I have also been on the other side of the table.

From my perspective, an interview should not be a questionnaire where you get ask super-detailed questions about a specific topic. A job interview should be a relaxed chat between experts on a particular technology. Similar to having a coffee with a colleague during worktime.

In my opinion, you can’t prepare for such a chat by learning how to answer the 15 most asked Angular questions. Instead of learning some answer to a tricky question, I believe it's more important to understand the main principles and best practices and be able to explain them in your own words.

This article will give you an overview of the most important topics that you should explain in an interview. It will describe every topic shortly so that you get an idea of what it is about.

For some topics, however, I will post some “recommended reads.” The recommended articles cover a topic in more detail and allow you to learn some important best practices.
