Brian Kitt I personally have never done something like this. But from my understanding Sentry does something similar.

I think you upload the source maps to Sentry and it is then able to somehow display correct error messages once an error occured.

Sentry is Open Source. Maybe you find your answer on https://github.com/getsentry
